As February comes to a close, 2020 is well underway, and a busy year it is!
After releasing “Tursan”, I’ve been preparing the segments of the longer tracks as singles – while they are meant to flow one into the next, why not make it convenient to listen to your favorite part! The Gateway is the first of those singles, and I made a video to go with it too 🙂
Then some new tracks that are not on Tursan, these being of a more ambient nature – Ambiano and Manifestation. These are on Bandcamp for now, because it takes Spotify and the streaming services a week or more to get them live, so keep an eye out for them there if you want to drift off into space with the music!
I pretty much never do cover versions, but I got inspired to do just that recently, so I am working on one now. Not going to say what ’til it’s ready!
At the moment it’s just gone through the “mapping” stage, where I use copy and paste to lay out the track and see what the structure will be. Next it will need those copy and pastes replacing with real recordings, and of course a lot more layers added.
It will be some weeks before it’s ready as I am off traveling this week, time to head to Prague on Wed feb 26th, back on Sun Mar 1st. Expect photos!
