First day of a brand new year, and a brand new decade!
I’ve wrapped up 2019 just where I wanted to be:
- Over the last week or so, I completed recording “The Wolf Runs Free”, the 5th and final piece of “Transmigration”. With a revisit to the mixing and mastering of the rest of the music, that means “Tursan” is complete!
- The short story that is an optional accompaniment to it is complete – called “The Shepherdess”, it tells the story that came to me as I was writing the music, brought to life by author Ember Skye Figuerola.
- The Cu Sithe logo was created a month or two back, by artist Cassandra Grimes (my daughter – and the short story author ES Figuerola is my sister, making this a truly family endeavor!)
- The last few days of 2019 were spent setting up related things like the YouTube channel, creating the first “Gear Piece” video, creating extracts from the music so that you can get an idea of what it is all about, and other such non-musical but important tasks!
And now on the first day of 2020, just getting the website updated, and doing a few more related tasks – there can be no better way to start the new year and new decade!
I hope yours is starting on an equally good footing!
